About
Hey there! I’m Aleksandr Aksenov, and I’ve spent a good chunk of my professional life deep-diving into the worlds of Linux and network administration. My journey began with a firm foundation in project management, which has given me a unique perspective when wrangling both hefty physical systems and those intricate virtual ones.
I’ve had the privilege of designing and setting up networks, and I’ve got a special fondness for everything cloud. From private setups right in our backyard (on-premise) to the vast expanses of the public cloud, I’ve been there, done that.
My toolkit? It’s packed with some of the coolest tech out there: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Pulumi, and the list goes on. I’ve got a soft spot for everything from routing and switching to CI/CD pipelines. And yes, I speak Golang!
I’ve had the honor of wearing different hats in my career. From leading the network team at Parallels, to diving int exploring the vast world of Amazon AWS as a Network Development Engineer. Most recently, I’ve been playing a key role as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Chintai Network Services UG.
